I have always loved the endless possibilities, and the recurring satisfaction from creating images, even just the simplest photographs as well as the more complicated post prodution images. Its a never ending learning adventure that the mind can be shared without words.

I started playing in photography as a hobby in the early 80s with a Nikon FG (quickly acquiring an FA and F3) which eventually evolved to working in the industry on and off for several years. Portfolios for models,entertainers and the everyday families photos was the body of my photography "career". In the film days there was a continuous flow of film from me to the developers and back...it was cumbersome and expensive so I shot only for personal pleasure and dabbled in Video...first with a massive VHS machine on my shoulder and then down to super 8.

Fast forward to the DIGITAL age....Still shooting Nikon my first DSLR was a D90 to reacquaint myself with a once loved passion...(the D90 came with video capabilities as well as acceptable still images abilitites) shortly after I added the D7100 for more capabilities in lower light situations. I have my eye on going full frame in the very short future but as cameras are being released at an incredible pace I'm thinking the longer I wait...the more likely I'm going to get exactly what I want and need from a full frame camera. Until then...I'll be patiently watching and waiting ..ready to push the shutton button on the next addition.
